Job Description

The Channel Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the execution of channel marketing strategies. This includes planning and executing in-person events like conferences and tradeshows, managing webinar logistics and content creation, and providing marketing support to channel partners. The role involves coordinating event details, creating marketing materials, and analyzing campaign performance. The specialist will work closely with Channel Account Managers, Growth Marketing, and Product Marketing teams to drive growth and engage with partners. The position also includes administrative tasks like maintaining event directories and preparing reports on marketing program results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing and event management.
Must have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce CRM, or marketing automation tools

The Channel Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of channel marketing strategies. This position requires a dynamic individual who excels in channel event logistics and analysis of key marketing initiatives with our channel partners. This includes event planning, content creation, lead management, and ensuring smooth communication across various marketing channels. You will collaborate closely with Channel Account Managers, Growth Marketing, and Product Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing and event management with a passion for driving growth and engaging with partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • In-Person Event Planning & Logistics:
    • Assist in the coordination and execution of in-person events such as partner conferences, tradeshows, and customer/partner meetups.
    • Oversee logistical details, including venue coordination, travel arrangements, catering, and promotional materials.
    • Support the creation and maintenance of event timelines and budgets.
    • Act as a liaison between vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure events run smoothly.
    • Assist in developing event messaging, collateral, and presentations for partner engagement.
    • Track, analyze, report, measure, and communicate program results. 
  • Webinar Facilitation & Coordination:
    • Manage the logistics of virtual webinars, including scheduling, registration, and technical setup.
    • Partner internally on the creation of content and promotional strategies for webinars.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure webinars align with broader channel marketing strategies and goals.
    • Provide on-the-day support during webinars, managing attendee engagement and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Partner Marketing Support:
    • Aid channel partners with marketing materials, campaign assets, and training to help drive sales initiatives.
    • Assist in developing and implementing co-branded marketing campaigns for partners.
    • Measure and report on campaign performance, providing insights for optimization.
  • Administrative & Reporting Tasks:
    • Maintain an up-to-date directory of events, webinars, and partner activities.
    • Prepare regular reports to evaluate event and campaign success, including metrics such as attendance, engagement, and ROI.
    • Provide recommendations to leadership based on program results.
    • Assist in managing marketing budgets and tracking expenses related to marketing programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, event planning, or a related field, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Experience planning and coordinating in-person events and virtual webinars.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing strategies, including email marketing and social media.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce CRM, marketing automation tools, Wrike, Google Analytics and AdWords is a plus. 
  • Able and willing to travel as required by the business (up to 10%)
