The Crown Is Yours

Join our team as a Chargeback Recovery Associate and be at the core of protecting our thriving community and enhancing the customer experience. In this critical role, you will maintain chargeback records, pull daily chargeback information, and complete the representment, collections and seizure process on behalf of the company. Your day-to-day will include conducting in-depth fraud analysis to ensure the integrity of transactions.

What you’ll do as a Chargeback Recovery Associate

  • Maintain DraftKings chargeback records, pulling daily chargeback information, and completing the representment, collections and seizure process on behalf of the company.

  • Investigate all suspected fraud (fraud coded) disputes and ACH returns and apply fraud mitigation best practices to reduce & recover losses.

  • Dispute credit/debit chargeback cases with appropriate responses based on network guidelines to recover & prevent losses.

  • Review accounts for potential recovery and assist PSPs with documentation to resolve disputes.

  • Work closely with our internal teams to obtain requested player documents, reactivate accounts, and answer questions related to chargebacks.

  • Assist on suspicious activity fraud reports with Fraud to submit to various regulatory and law enforcement agencies in financial fraud cases.

  • Additional tasks as required by our internal departments.

What you'll bring

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, banking industry experience is strongly preferred.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field will be considered an asset. 

  • Knowledge of payment processing and chargebacks, ideally in an e-commerce environment.

  • Self-motivated, analytical thinker with a desire to mitigate risk from chargebacks.

  • Competence with Zendesk & Microsoft Excel skills.

  • SQL Experience is preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to work holidays, nights, and weekends. 

  • Ability to get licensed in multiple jurisdictions

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is 19.62 USD - 24.52 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
