Job Description

This internship focuses on developing Tesla's Supercharger network within the DACH region. Responsibilities include market research, identifying potential Supercharger locations, negotiating with landlords and grid operators, and managing project design (using SketchUp) and vendor onboarding. The role also involves administrative tasks such as registration with authorities, invoice handling, and documentation archiving. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a relevant degree (recent graduates considered), possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and be comfortable with occasional travel. Proficiency in German and English is crucial.

With 50,000+ Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the largest global, fast charging network in the world. Located on major routes near convenient amenities, Superchargers keep our customers charged when they are away from home. 

As the expansion of our charging infrastructure continues to grow, we are now hiring a Project Developer to continue to develop the Supercharging network by finding and signing the best locations for our Superchargers within DACH. In your day-to-day activities you will work on market research, prospecting potential site hosts, pitching our proposition, negotiating, and closing deals.

What You’ll Do
  • Scouting for new installation partner companies, grid operators, landlords for Supercharger sites
  • Design of smaller projects in SketchUp for construction
  • Vendor onboarding and invoice handling of charging business partners
  • Administrative registration tasks with authorities
  • Documentation archive tasks (digital & analog)
What You’ll Bring
  • Pursuing a degree within relevant field (recent graduates can be considered)
  • A burning desire to work for the most innovative company on the planet and to change the foreseeable future of both the automotive and energy industries
  • Previous internship/ working student experience is considered a plus
  • Good stakeholder management
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of creativity, perseverance and openness to change
  • Good written and spoken German and English language skills
  • Ability to work fulltime in Munich office
  • Open to occasional travel (including overnight stays) and a valid driving license
