Job Description

The Cloud and AI Technical Marketing Engineer will play a key role in shaping Gigamon’s technology strategy, especially with Generative AI (GenAI). They will define and communicate a vision for cloud and GenAI capabilities, collaborate with customers, equip sales teams, engage with technology partners, and develop insightful content. This role requires at least 6 years of experience with virtualization and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) technologies, with experience in DevOps/CloudOps, security, and/or networking being highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) or Technical Systems Engineer.

Must have:

6+ years hands-on experience with IaaS technologies
Experience in DevOps/CloudOps, security, and/or networking
Clear and enthusiastic communicator

Good to have:

Exposure or interest in Generative AI technologies

Join us as a Cloud and AI Technical Marketing Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping Gigamon’s technology strategy, especially as we innovate in the exciting world of Generative AI (GenAI). What You'll Do:

Define and communicate a compelling vision for our cloud and GenAI capabilities.
Collaborate closely with customers and prospects to understand their challenges and demonstrate Gigamon’s solutions.
Equip our sales teams and channel partners with the insights, tools, and confidence to effectively present and sell our cloud and GenAI solutions.
Engage with technology partners to build compelling demonstrations and narratives that showcase powerful integrations.
Develop insightful thought leadership content, including technical blogs, whitepapers, and guides.
Create practical deployment, troubleshooting, and evaluation documentation.

What You’ve Done:

At least 6 years of solid hands-on experience with virtualization and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) technologies.
Experience in DevOps/CloudOps, security, and/or networking is highly desirable.
Any exposure or interest in Generative AI technologies (GenAI) is a significant plus.
A clear, enthusiastic communicator who enjoys engaging directly with customers.
Demonstrated experience writing and delivering high-quality technical materials.
Background as a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) or Technical Systems Engineer is ideal, but we highly value diverse experiences and backgrounds.
