Summary

Dynamis seeks a Cloud Architect to manage cloud environments for the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) within ICE. Responsibilities include DevOpsSec pipeline implementation, performance monitoring enhancements, SOP creation for cloud management (user access, server lifecycle, billing), and migration between cloud environments. The role requires experience with AWS (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certifications preferred), TOGAF, migrations from AWS Commercial Cloud to FedRamp GovCloud, FISMA/NIST standards, message services, microservices, container architectures, APM tools, and database management (MongoDB and Oracle). US Citizenship is mandatory for ICE Suitability.
Must have:
  • AWS Certified (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional)
  • TOGAF experience
  • AWS Commercial to GovCloud migration
  • FISMA/NIST compliance knowledge
  • 8+ years experience (Bachelor's degree) or 10+ years (no Bachelor's)
Good to have:
  • Experience with message services, microservices, container architectures
  • APM tools expertise
  • MongoDB and Oracle database management

Dynamis is seeking a Cloud Architect to support a contract with the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Responsibilities:

  • The Cloud Architect will have overall responsibility over the engineering task and the creation and management of cloud environments in support of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). The Cloud Architect will provide and execute strategies for DevOpsSec pipeline adoption, development, and implementation. The Cloud Architect will provide solutions to enhance performance monitoring and implement standards of operating procedures (SOPs) for configuration management items in the cloud (including user access, creation and retirement of servers.), billing / usage of cloud resources, and migration between cloud environments.

Requirements:

  •  U.S. Citizenship to obtain ICE Suitability
  • Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment OR No Bachelor’s Degree with ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional 
  • Experience with TOGAF, migrations from AWS Commercial Cloud to FedRamp Approved GovCloud, FISMA and NIST standards, message services, microservices and container architectures, APM tools, database management (MongoDB and Oracle).
