Job Description

As a Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure Consultant, you'll work directly with Google's strategic customers on critical projects, transforming their businesses. You'll provide management, consulting, and technical expertise, collaborating with client executives and technical leaders to deploy solutions via Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Responsibilities include shaping programs to meet business requirements, translating customer needs into solution recommendations, executing project management tasks (scoping, team structuring, timely delivery), collaborating with internal teams, and packaging best practices into published assets. You'll also understand customer needs to shape Google's product strategy and contribute to team growth. Working closely with key Google partners, you'll manage programs, deliver consulting services, and provide technical guidance and best-practice expertise.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Experience managing executive relationships and stakeholder landscape
Experience leading cloud transformations (migration, program management, etc.)
Experience with architecture, development, and maintenance of solutions in cloud environments
Fluent in English and Arabic

Good to have:

Experience with channel partners and third-party developers
Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible)
Experience reading software code (Java, Javascript, Python)
Experience deploying distributed data processing systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
Experience in systems design and complex systems interactions

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in managing executive-level relationships and stakeholder landscape, creating end-to-end solution architecture.
Experience in leading cloud transformations, including customer-facing migration, program management, service discovery, assessment, planning, execution and operations.
Experience with architecture, developing, and maintaining technical solutions in virtualization or cloud environments.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with channel partners, systems integrator, and third-party developers to deliver successful solutions.
Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, etc.).
Experience with reading software code in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Javascript, or Python).
Experience in deploying distributed data processing systems in one or more of the following: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
Experience in systems design with an ability to architect or explain complex systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs, and methods available.
Ability to communicate in English and Arabic fluently for interactions with local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Work with customers to help shape a program of work to meet their business requirements and outcomes with Google consulting services.
Interact with sales/partner leads and technical stakeholders to translate complex customer requirements into recommendations for appropriate solutions and consulting services.
Execute on project management responsibilities inclusive of scoping activities, structuring a team, and delivering in a timeline during consulting engagement.
Work closely with geographically dispersed internal teams, product, and engineering to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
Understand customer needs and help shape Google’s long-term product strategy and share your knowledge and skills to grow the team.
