Job Description

The Sales Force Effectiveness Manager is responsible for defining and implementing the field commercial strategy. This involves proposing recommendations to improve performance through Segmentation & Targeting, Productivity, and Cycle plans. The role requires analyzing data, creating solutions to maximize sales, compiling and reporting sales data, providing insights for sales and marketing teams, and contributing to the development of sales plans. The role also involves monitoring objectives, designing visualizations to measure team effectiveness, and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency. Proficiency in English and French or Dutch is required.
Must have:
  • 4+ years of sales force effectiveness in FMCG.
  • Skills in data modeling and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
  • English and French or Dutch language proficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to set clear objectives.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of CRM Tools (Salesforce.com and/or Veeva).
  • Understanding of commercial and financial impact.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.

About the role: The Sales Force Effectiveness Manager (SFE) is responsible for defining, implementing, and tracking the execution of the field commercial strategy. The role involves proposing recommendations to the Sales Department to improve performance and increase the impact of the Field Teams through Segmentation & Targeting, Productivity, Perfect Store programs, and Cycle plans. Proficiency in English and French or Dutch is a must, along with experience in the Benelux market.

Your Day to Day:

  • Analyze current data, create solutions to maximize sales, support system maintenance, and integrate new services.
  • Compile, analyze, and report sales data, monitor and analyze competitive activity, customer, and market trends.
  • Provide actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams.
  • Contribute to the development of sales plans and objectives.
  • Maintain the quality of data, monitor and analyze the achievement of objectives assigned to the Field Sales Teams..
  • Design visualizations (KPI & reports) to measure the team’s effectiveness based on internal and external data.
  • Track and report on performance metrics to support critical business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to better manage Field Force activities that drive efficiencies. .

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a sales force effectiveness role within the FMCG sector.
  • Skills in data modelling, data analytics, and knowledge of CRM Tools (ideally Salesforce.com and/or Veeva).
  • High level of proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
  • Language proficiency in English, French, and/or Dutch.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, generating insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with a high level of resilience.
  • Ability to set clear objectives, track, and course correct where needed.
  • Understanding of the commercial and financial impact of decisions and risks.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to team up with various people in different levels and countries within the organization.
  • Project management experience in data or related fields.
