The Commercial team at Entain Australia & New Zealand plays a key role in a variety of areas, from procurement and insurance management to overseeing both the strategic and operational aspects of customer payments. They also lead several strategic initiatives, focusing on both internal projects and external opportunities.

The Commercial Manager is responsible for leading the team tasked with managing the day-to-day procurement activities and supplier relationships to support the company's operational and strategic goals.This role ensures cost efficiency, high quality, and alignment with the company’s standards and ethical values. Key responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and evaluating supplier performance while also driving value through supplier innovation, risk management, and cultivating strategic partnerships, both within the company and externally.

Where and how you can work
This position can be based in any of our offices across Australia or New Zealand, or remotely within either country. At Entain AUS & NZ, we embrace flexibility by offering a hybrid working model, allowing employees to spend two days a week in the office to promote work-life balance and accommodate individual preferences. This role is ideally based in Brisbane. 

Your day-to-day..

• Oversee the procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability to achieve organizational goals.
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements, ensuring optimal terms, service levels, and compliance.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure procurement aligns with regulatory and project requirements.
• Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize procurement decisions and supplier performance management.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including developing contingency plans for critical suppliers.

You're a match if you have…

• Previous experience in a similar role where you were managing multiple priorities and building effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with expertise in procurement tools, ERP systems, and vendor management software.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships, including technology procurement (e.g.software licensing and hardware sourcing).
• ·Experience in enhancing and optimising existing processes to meet the business’ operational cadence.
