Job Description

As a Strategy and Operations Manager for Google Cloud, you will define, land, and execute priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. Responsibilities include planning, goal setting, territory design, expansion plans, managing business activities, providing business insights, ensuring cross-functional alignment, driving partnerships, and executing new initiatives. You will influence executive-level decisions, advise leadership, solve ambiguous business challenges, and support organizational priorities. Improving operations involves launching new programs, target setting, streamlining processes, automation, identifying opportunities, and optimizing resource allocation. The role also includes designing and implementing business cadence to deliver effective operations and achieve key milestones. This position requires fluent English communication due to collaboration with US and Canada-based partners.
Must have:
  • 10+ years experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, etc.
  • Executive-level client/stakeholder experience
  • Data analysis and insight generation
  • Managing business activities (planning, headcount, reviews, targets)
  • Fluent English communication
Good to have:
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree
  • Problem-solving skills (financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker)
  • Compelling reporting and presentations
  • Knowledge of enterprise customers and cloud technologies

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, or Program Management.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
  • Experience with data analysis and generating insights to decision making.
  • Experience managing business activities, such as annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or target setting.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires communication with US and Canada based partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience leveraging problem-solving skills (e.g. financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, etc.) to influence business leadership, measure outcomes, and evolve recommendations based on results.
  • Experience tailoring and delivering compelling reporting and presentations by the audience, asking questions, and leading conversations that deliver results and efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise customers and cloud technologies, products and market landscape.

  • Run and improve operations by launching new programs, target setting, streamlining processes, automating tasks, identifying opportunities across the business, and optimizing resource allocation.
