Job Description

As the Commercial Strategy Lead at Immutable, you'll be pivotal in shaping the company's commercial success. You'll own the internal deals process, optimizing unit economics and evolving the commercial decision-making framework for non-standard deals. This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive commercial partnership strategy, manage key relationships with investors and partners, and analyze market trends to maximize profitability. You'll collaborate extensively with Finance, GTM, and the executive team, ensuring commercial strategies align with the overall company vision. The position requires proven deal-making experience, including structuring, negotiating, and executing complex agreements, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

About The Role 🤔

At Immutable, our mission is to scale the world's most innovative blockchain gaming platform, and as the Commercial Strategy Lead, you will sit at the nexus of the company’s overall commercial strategy and pure commercial execution via our GTM team. Your role will focus on ensuring that we are making the right commercial bets and optimising Immutable’s overall economic profile - partnering with our external network and internal commercial functions and taking commercial initiatives (major transactions, investments) from origination to execution.


This is a highly strategic and analytical role that will require deep collaboration across Finance, GTM, and the executive team. You will work at the intersection of strategy, deal-making, and execution, ensuring every commercial decision supports Immutable’s long-term success. You will report to our VP, Commercial and Group Strategy, who reports to our CEO.

You'll Be Empowered To 🎮

    • Own our internal deals process, optimizing unit economics of our entire commercial engine
    • Own and evolve our commercial decision-making framework for non-standard deals, ensuring consistency and strategic alignment
    • Drive commercial partnership strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance Immutable’s revenue profile 
    • Manage key strategic relationships, particularly with investor networks and major commercial partners, to foster long-term value creation
    • Analyze market trends, partner data, and financial insights to make data-driven decisions that maximize Immutable’s profitability and competitive positioning
    • Work cross-functionally with leadership teams to ensure that commercial strategies are effectively executed and align with our broader company vision

We'd Love You To Bring 🤝

    • At least 5+ years of experience in high-performing environments such as consulting, investment banking, venture capital or as an operator at a tech scale-up
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently within strategic guardrails
    • Strong strategic and quantitative skills, capable of analyzing market trends and financial data to optimize commercial outcomes
    • Proven deal-making experience, including structuring, negotiating, and executing complex commercial agreements
    • Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of how commercial decisions impact and sit in context of the broader business strategy
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives, investors, and external partners
