As a Community Manager at AMG, you will foster a strong and engaging community of content creators, aligning with the brand and resonating with gaming clientele. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies for community engagement across various platforms. Your primary responsibility is to ensure community success and growth by keeping members engaged, informed, and satisfied. This involves managing online communities, developing engagement strategies, representing gaming brands, coordinating with internal teams, responding to inquiries, and organizing events. The role requires strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the gaming industry, ensuring organic marketing results for clients.
Must have:
  • Familiarity with the mobile gaming industry.
  • Two years of experience as a community manager within gaming.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of third-person shooters and/or role-playing games.
  • Experience with brand management and content creation.
  • Experience or proficiency with the Google Suite.
  • Experience or proficiency with Creator Hub or other creator/content reporting software.

Job Overview

As a Community Manager at AMG, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a strong and engaging community of content creators that aligns with the essence of the brand and resonates with our gaming clientele. Your strong communication skills, creativity, and understanding of the gaming industry will be crucial in building relationships, facilitating effective community management, and exceeding the expectations of our clients.


You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies for community engagement, including forums, social media, and other online resources. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the success and growth of our community by keeping members engaged, informed, and satisfied, thus promoting strong retention and organic marketing results for our client.



Responsibilities & Duties


  • Manage and engage with assigned online communities across multiple platforms, including social media, forums, Discord, and direct messages.
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies and initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Act as a representative for the gaming brands we manage, attentively and responsively engaging with content creators within the community.
  • Work as part of our Creator Programs team to cultivate a community that provides value to content creators and yields organic marketing results.
  • Monitor, track, and report on creator and community feedback and reviews, providing insights to the team to improve overall community experience.
  • Coordinate with AMG's internal teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment of community strategies with broader campaign goals.
  • Foster an environment of open communication by responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Organize and participate in campaigns and events to build community and boost brand awareness.


Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: Familiarity with the mobile gaming industry.
  • REQUIRED: At least two years of demonstrated experience as a community manager or similar role, particularly within the gaming industry.
  • HIGHLY PREFERRED: Knowledge of third-person shooters and/or role-playing games.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with managing social media platforms, Discord, and community forums.
  • Deep understanding of the gaming industry and current trends.
  • Ability to identify and track relevant creator metrics (e.g., views, impressions, engagement rate, and growth).
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret content analytic data and online community engagement metrics.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • BONUS: Experience with brand management and content creation.
  • BONUS: Experience or proficiency with the Google Suite.
  • BONUS: Experience or proficiency with Creator Hub or other creator/content reporting software.
