The Opportunity

To support our organization during a busy product release period, you’ll be owning community management and engagement across all our social platforms, and engaging with other relevant communities. You’ll moderate our discord community, and help direct support queries, as well as write and schedule content for our social media in collaboration with our marketing artists.

You’ll bring your knowledge of community management and social media platforms, and learn how to speak to the intersection of the different IP fan communities we bring together through our products. You will also use community data to report on campaign success - helping improve future product releases by highlighting key successes and pains. You will not just be working with a welcoming community, but actively working to make it more exciting and vibrant for all fans of Gamemode One.

What we mean when we say ‘mid-level’

This role is listed at an experience level of “mid-level”. We know that this can mean something different across employers. For us, this means we are looking for someone who already has some experience in social media or community management that they can contribute to the role. This may be a mix of personal and professional experience. You should already be confident with marketing around big beats, copywriting, and familiar with gaming audiences. You will have a significant impact on how players perceive and respond to our new products. This is likely not the role for you if this would be your first marketing role.
