Concepteur de cinématiques sénior

NetEase Games Montreal est la toute nouvelle division de NetEase Games, un développeur et éditeur de jeux de premier plan qui se concentre sur la fourniture d'expériences de jeux mobiles et en ligne de haute qualité. Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d'un concepteur de cinématiques pour notre prochain projet qui n'a pas encore été annoncé. Il devra mettre en œuvre des événements scénarisés, travailler en tandem avec les concepteurs de niveaux et les animateurs pour créer des éléments mémorables pendant le jeu afin d'aider à offrir une expérience narrative immersive.

Responsabilités :

  • Collaborer avec les concepteurs de niveaux, les animateurs, les programmeurs et les réalisateurs sur la création de moments de jeu, de la conception à la finalisation.
  • S'assurer que l'exécution technique est cohérente avec la vision du jeu, des transitions aux fonctionnalités et à la maintenance.
  • Intégrer, tester et déboguer les cinématiques et les animations d'événements scénaristiques dans le moteur, et travailler en étroite collaboration avec les animateurs et les concepteurs de niveaux pour s'assurer que l'intégration correspond aux objectifs narratifs et de gameplay requis.
  • Fournir un support technique en cas de besoin et des conseils techniques pour s'assurer que les outils peuvent répondre à la vision demandée.
  • Travailler en co-développement avec une équipe à Hangzhou en Chine.

Qualifications :

  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine des scripts ou l'équivalent ;
  • Au moins deux titres expédiés ;
  • Forte familiarité avec un langage de script visuel ;
  • Expérience avec Unreal ou un moteur de jeu équivalent ;
  • Excellentes compétences verbales, écrites et de communication ;
  • Volonté d'apprendre et de maîtriser de nouveaux outils et techniques ;

Senior Cinematic Designer 

NetEase Games Montreal is the brand-new division of NetEase Games; a leading game developer and publisher focusing on delivering top quality mobile and online game experiences. We are currently looking for a Cinematic Designer for our next unannounced project to implement scripted events, working in tandem with level designers and animators to create memorable set pieces during gameplay to help deliver an immersive narrative experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with level designers, animators, programmers and directors on the creation of set piece moments from inception to final.
  • Ensure the technical execution is cohesive with the game’s vision; from transitions to functionality and maintenance.
  • Integrate, test and debug cinematics and script event animation in the engine, and work closely with animators and level designers to ensure the integration fits the required narrative and gameplay goals.
  • Providing technical support when needed and technical guidance to ensure the tools can deliver on the requested vision.
  • Work in co-development with a team in Hangzhou China.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years scripting experience or equivalent;
  • Minimum of two shipped titles;
  • Strong familiarity with visual scripting language;
  • Experience in Unreal or a game engine equivalent;
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills;
  • Willing to learn and master new tools and techniques;
