Bethesda Game Studios seeks a Level Designer to create immersive open world environments for Starfield, The Elder Scrolls, and Fallout. You'll design, build, and script game areas using proprietary tools. Experience with scripting languages, open world games, and the Creation Kit are essential.

Dans ton rôle de Concepteur.trice de niveau, tu vas...

  • Créer du contenu de haute qualité pour les niveaux en « open world »
  • Utiliser des outils propriétaires pour concevoir, construire, scénariser et optimiser les zones de jeu
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec la vision du concepteur de niveaux principal pour assurer la cohérence, la définition et la qualité du contenu
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes chargées de l'art de l'environnement, de la conception des quêtes et de la conception des systèmes pour s'assurer que le jeu répond aux objectifs artistiques et les conceptions établis
  • Jouer régulièrement au contenu du jeu et fournir des commentaires constructifs aux autres concepteurs
  • Maintenir le contenu hérité et corriger les bogues nécessaires
  • Être capable de gérer plusieurs tâches à la fois et de contribuer à plusieurs niveaux mondiaux simultanément

Your Daily Life at Bethesda Game Studios

As Level Designer, you will…

  • Create high quality open world level content
  • Use a proprietary toolset to design, build, script, and optimize game areas
  • Work closely with the vision of the lead level designer to ensure consistency, scope, and quality of content
  • Work closely with environment art, quest design and systems design teams to ensure game areas meet established art and design goals
  • Regularly play game content and provide constructive feedback to fellow designers
  • Maintain legacy content and make required bug fixes
  • Be able to multi-task and contribute to strike teams for multiple world levels at a time

Qualifications

  • Tu as de l'expérience dans la conception, la construction et la population des niveaux de jeu
  • Tu as de l'expérience avec les langages de script basés sur du texte
  • Tu as complété un projet de A à Z
  • Tu possèdes d'excellentes compétences de communication et de documentation
  • Tu es très familier(ère) avec une variété de jeux « open world »
  • Tu es autonome et as le souci du détail
  • Tu as de l'expérience avec Creation Kit

Tu dois fournir un portfolio comprenant des exemples de ton travail.

  • You have experience designing, building, and populating game levels
  • You are experienced with text-based scripting languages
  • You have shipped a project from start to finish
  • You possess excellent communication and documentation skills
  • You have strong familiarity with a variety of open world games
  • You are self-driven, with a strong focus and attention to detail
  • You have experience with the Creation Kit

You must provide a portfolio featuring examples of your work
