Tesla is seeking a MEP Site Manager for its Gigafactory in Berlin-Brandenburg. This role involves managing MEP contractors, developing and tracking execution plans, coordinating with various teams (engineering, procurement, quality, facility management, manufacturing), and ensuring on-time and within-budget project delivery. Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, leading the final acceptance process, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of MEP construction experience in large industrial projects, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and strong communication skills in English and German.

What You’ll DoThe MEP site manager will work closely with engineering, procurement, quality, facility management and manufacturing teams and will coordinate on a day-to-day basis with core and shell and fit-out site managers to construct new buildings and upgrade existing ones. The site manager will be responsible for supervising core and shell activities performed by specialized contractors and helping them in resolving day-to-day issues.
- Develop, track and control execution plans.
- Manage MEP contractors to deliver the project on time and within budget.
- Coordinate among different contractors and between contractors and other Tesla departments to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
- Initiate, track and manage purchase orders for core and shell activities.
- Lead, in coordination with the quality team, the final acceptance process and handover of the facility to the end client.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the applicable state and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- 5 years or more of MEP construction experience preferably in large industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in building concrete and steel works starting with underground foundations and ending with the completion of the building structure.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil engineering, or similar.
- Ability to work within a high-performing, dynamic and fast-paced organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
- Computer literacy with MS Office applications and scheduling tools. Knowledge of other relevant software is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and German languages. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
