Job Description

This role focuses on delivering and improving key metrics, management reports, and dashboards for the North America Professional Services team, ensuring adherence to regional PS operations standards. Responsibilities include guiding on PS operations procedures, supporting PS Project revenue forecasts, analyzing financial actuals vs. forecast variances, and managing project leakage and margin performance. The analyst will also support Fixed Bid revenue forecasting for a subset of the North America Practice and partner with Practice Leaders, Program/Project Managers, Finance, and Revenue Accounting.
Must have:
  • Deliver and improve key metrics, management reports and dashboards for North America Professional Services team
  • Ensure adherence to regional PS operations standards
  • Provide guidance on PS operations procedures
  • Support PS Project revenue forecast
  • Perform financials actuals vs forecast variance analysis
  • Analyze project leakage and margin performance
  • Support Fixed Bid revenue forecasting for subset of North America Practice
  • Partner with Practice Leaders, Program/Project Managers, Finance and Revenue Accounting
  • Contribute to policy/procedure implementation documentation
  • Develop and maintain key operational metrics (Billable Utilization, Project Profitability, Revenue Leakage & Non-Bill Investments)
  • Support revenue forecasting for Time and Material and Fixed Bid project types
  • Analyze delivery, financial, and utilization data to identify trends and insights
  • Administer or support Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool

Job Details

Scope:

What you will do:

  • Contribute to policy/procedure implementation documentation and provide guidance on PS operations policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain key operational metrics (i.e. Billable Utilization, Project Profitability, Revenue Leakage & Non-Bill Investments
  • Support revenue forecasting for both Time and Material and Fixed Bid project types
  • Analyze delivery, financial, and utilization data to identify trends and insights
  • Administer or support Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool
  • Partner with Practice Leaders, Program/Project Managers, Finance and Revenue Accounting

What we are looking for:

  • 2-4 years’ experience as Business/Operational Analyst (Professional Services Experience preferred)
  • Professional Services Automation Software (PSA) experience (Upland Tenrox experience a plus)
  • Sales CRM Experience (Salesforce.com experience a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows
  • Strong communication, organization, and planning skills
  • Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to plan and resolve unexpected problems quickly and efficiently
  • Self-starter, positive, creative problem solver.
  • Flexibility to work outside of traditional business hours
