Job Description

The Consulting Specialist for Azure Infrastructure will accelerate their career by leveraging cutting-edge solutions for customers. Responsibilities include developing leads, qualifying opportunities, and closing deals. This role requires seamless collaboration with the account team to drive consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs. The specialist will continuously build sales expertise, maintain pipeline hygiene, and adhere to Microsoft processes and methodologies. The role involves providing impactful points of view to accelerate consumption aligned with solution area expertise. This is a fully remote position.

We are seeking a Consulting Specialist for Azure Infrastructure.  As an experienced consulting specialist Azure Infrastructure seller this role will give you the opportunity to accelerate your career growth, growing your solution area expertise, developing leads, qualification of strategic opportunities and ownership through to successful deal closure, leveraging cutting edge solutions for customers that grow cloud consumption. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • 4+ years solution or services sales experience.

Solution Area Specialists IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,100 - $185,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $144,000 - $203,500 per year.

Responsibilities

  • You will role model and demonstrate customer and partner obsession through customer business outcomes leveraging solution area expertise.
  • You will provide an impactful point of view (POV) where Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) can accelerate consumption, aligned to solution area expertise into Account planning cycles.
  • You will work seamlessly with the wider account team, building and strengthening relationships across the Microsoft teams to drive consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs.
  • You will continuously build sales expertise, learning and evolving Industry and solution knowledge to support customers and the wider one Microsoft team and investing in personal development.
  • You will champion and adhere to Microsoft processes and methodologies, on strategy selling, pipeline hygiene, logging and maintaining all opportunities (revenue and consumption) for Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) opportunities, continuous qualification, Opportunity Review Board (ORB) submissions, close plan ownership.
