About the job

We're currently looking for a Content Designer to join our team!

WHO ARE WE?

We are a team of five Content Designers working within a larger Product Team on the production of our storytelling games. We play a crucial role in both creating and integrating engaging content for our games.

Our role involves producing detailed references for the art team, which includes visual specifications for game assets. Additionally, we write brief texts such as notifications and in-game messages. Once the content is created, we use internally developed tools to import art, story chapters, and sounds into the game.

By collaborating with the Editorial and Analytics teams, we optimize content release schedules and performance, ensuring that our additions enhance player engagement and overall game experience. We also closely cooperate with Content Testers, with whom we share one of the most colourful offices in the company.

If you love fashion, have strong organisational skills, and your English is on point, we would love to hear back from you!

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

  • Import new stories and other content into our games (mature content included!)
  • Write and suggest new content, giving cool new outfits fitting names and descriptions
  • Communicate with other team members to ensure project goals are met
  • Brainstorm and create new outfits and locations for our games
  • Play our games, as well as similar games from other companies

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO UNLOCK THIS ROLE?

  • Student status with availability to work full-time (weekends excluded)
  • Proficiency in English, particularly in written communication
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Creative thinking and the ability to think outside the box
  • Motivation and resilience when handling repetitive tasks
  • A great fashion sense, with the ability to tailor styles to the preferences of our audience
  • A good sense of humor
  • Interest in pop culture, entertainment, and various media

WHAT DO WE OFFER IN RETURN?

  • Professional development: For starters, we don't see you as "just a student" but as an equal member of the team who will develop their skills and grow alongside us! We promise a structured and smooth onboarding process, complete with scheduled feedback sessions and support from both a mentor and a buddy. To keep you and your team on the cutting edge of industry trends, we also provide a team budget for ongoing education.
  • Financial benefits: We offer a starting salary of 5.25 EUR/hour for the position, along with additional financial benefits such as a Christmas bonus, Easter bonus and summer bonus.
  • Fostering team connection: You’ll be joining an amazing team of talented individuals who form a closely knit community. We actively support team connection through various internal workshops that facilitate knowledge and skills sharing. Additionally, we host exciting quarterly parties, an annual off-site teambuilding event (check out this video from our last adventure!), engaging pub quizzes, and our creative internal game jam. Our team also has the opportunity to propose ideas for new games, fostering a strong sense of ownership and purpose.
  • Work-life balance: We are deeply dedicated to our work, but also understand the importance of switching off and recharging. To support this, we offer flexible working hours, allowing you to start your day anytime between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m, and even more flexibility during the finals. Full-time students working with us not only benefit from an hour-long lunch break but also enjoy an exceptional perk—12 days of paid vacation upon reaching their first work anniversary! Our flexible work model allows you to choose the environment where you work best, whether that’s from home, the office, or a mix of both. During your onboarding period, we’ll ask you to work from the office to get acclimated and connect with the team, but once you're up to speed, you'll have the freedom to select the work arrangement that suits you best.
  • Last but not least, you will get to work with an amazing team in top-notch offices and an atmosphere that is simultaneously motivating, friendly and productive! :)

If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, we look forward to your application! Please apply with a cover letter and a CV in English only :)

WHAT’S NEXT?

  • Initial Screening: We’ll start by reviewing all applications to identify those best suited for the position. If you’re not selected this time, please feel free to apply again in the future; we’d be happy to consider your application.
  • Practical Assignment: To give you a clearer picture of the role and help us assess your fit, you'll first have to complete a practical assignment from home. You’ll have 5 days to complete it.
  • Interview: Candidates who excel in the assignment will be invited to an interview. This will combine a culture fit assessment with a technical evaluation to further explore your suitability for the role.
  • Final Decision
