We seek storytellers and worldbuilders passionate about their craft and how to utilize dynamic game systems & mechanics best to create exciting experiences for our players. You must find motivation in having the freedom and responsibility to take ownership of tasks and deliver on agreed expectations. You care about quality, and you’re energized by the idea of our many fans around the world praising your work after release. You thrive in a prestigeless, open, and creative environment where people around you love their jobs and the games we make, and where your participation is encouraged in discussions ranging from technical design to art direction and game design. Bring your ideas to our highly experienced team, and together we’ll craft an exciting unannounced game that will leave a lasting impact on our fans.
As a Content Designer, you will design and implement gameplay experiences within existing gameplay systems. You will also design narratives and write events in American English that thematically fit within the game. In your day-to-day work, you will implement your design using our in-house scripting language, take ownership of deliveries, and work with other Content Designers and other disciplines.
You will be part of an experienced team that thrives on collaboration, shared ownership, and a passion for excellence. We value proactive problem-solving and encourage you to speak up, challenge ideas, and drive improvements. Curiosity and a willingness to dive into new challenges are essential in our fast-paced environment. By bringing your energy and creativity, you'll grow as a developer and inspire those around you.
We would like your application to include any relevant work samples and/or a link to your portfolio if you have one. We are especially interested in writing samples and any other content you have produced for games, other media, or even tabletop role-playing games. Don't hesitate to mention how many hours you've spent in any of our games in your application either, as it can become an advantage in your candidacy.
