Job Description

We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and execution-focused Content Writer and Manager to create brand and product storytelling, build high-impact content, and drive multi-channel marketing initiatives. This role requires someone who is able to communicate complex (platform and tech-based) value propositions effectively, ensuring the content speaks to the client directly. You need to be a strong writer and content strategist who can manage the content lifecycle — from big-idea narratives to tactical creation and distribution — while collaborating closely across internal and external teams.
Must have:
  • Develop and refine brand and product positioning narratives.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams for customer-centric messaging.
  • Lead creation of content assets (whitepapers, ebooks, guides, blog posts, webinars, case studies, email copy, website content, sales collateral).
  • Create and manage a content calendar.
  • Partner with SEO and web teams for organic visibility and keyword rankings.
  • Write and optimize web content based on SEO insights.
  • Ensure web content aligns with brand voice and UX best practices.
  • Work with digital and social media managers to promote content.
  • Coordinate with email marketing for high-converting campaigns.
  • Manage external vendors (freelance writers, designers, editors).
  • Partner with demand generation and design for consistent messaging.
  • Repurpose flagship content into various formats (blog series, emails, social posts, infographics, videos).
  • Create content tailored to different customer journey stages.
  • Measure content performance using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot.
  • Use performance insights to refine strategy and increase conversions.
  • Run A/B tests on email content, headlines, landing pages, and CTAs.

You need to be a strong writer and content strategist who can manage the content lifecycle — from big-idea narratives to tactical creation and distribution — while collaborating closely across internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Product Messaging

  • Develop and refine brand and product positioning narratives that are consistent, differentiated, and resonate with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to craft persona-based, customer-centric messaging that supports our go-to-market efforts, pipeline generation and conversion.

Content Strategy & Development

  • Lead the creation of key content assets, including:
  • Whitepapers, ebooks, and guides
  • Blog posts and thought leadership
  • Webinars, event materials, and case studies
  • Email marketing copy (newsletters, campaigns, nurture flows)
  • Website content aligned with SEO and content strategy
  • Sales Enablement Collateral (one-sheeters, guides, slides, presentations)
  • Create and manage a content calendar that aligns with business objectives, campaign themes, and product launches.

Website & SEO Content Strategy

  • Partner with the SEO and web teams to identify content opportunities that improve organic visibility and keyword rankings.
  • Write and optimize content for web pages, blog posts, and landing pages based on SEO insights and performance data.
  • Ensure web content aligns with brand voice, keyword strategy, and user experience best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with digital and social media managers to launch and promote content pieces across paid and organic channels.
  • Coordinate with the email marketing team to deliver personalized, high-converting campaigns.
  • Manage external vendors, including freelance writers, designers, and editors, providing clear briefs and direction.
  • Partner with demand generation and design teams to ensure consistent messaging and asset production across campaigns.

Content Repurposing & Amplification

  • Extend the life of flagship content (e.g., whitepapers) by repurposing it into derivative formats: Blog series, emails, social posts, infographics, short videos
  • Create content tailored to different stages of the customer journey and across different formats and platforms.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Measure content performance across web, social, and email using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Use performance insights to refine content strategy, improve engagement, and increase conversions.
  • Run A/B tests on email content, headlines, landing pages, and CTAs to continuously optimize results.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, copywriting, or brand storytelling in advertising, technology, healthcare, or regulated industries.
  • Strong portfolio of written work (e.g., whitepapers, case studies, webinars) that resonates with a technical, decision-making audience, including marketers, data analysts, and healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales and product teams to support Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and ensure content aligns with product features and buyer needs.
  • Deep understanding of SEO principles, keyword strategy, and on-page optimization.
  • Proven experience in managing email campaigns and collaborating across marketing functions.
  • Skilled at managing freelancers, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in content and project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, WordPress, Asana, Google Analytics).

Preferred

  • Understanding of buyer personas, sales enablement content, and lead-nurturing strategies.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe)

Hours:

  • 9am-6pm ET hours required

Target salary range: $85-95k base + $5k target annual bonus based on company and individual performance
