As a Content QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of Dungeons & Dragons content on D&D Beyond. This role involves developing comprehensive test plans, designing test cases, and leading testing efforts for new content, features, and updates. You will thoroughly test all aspects of game content, including gameplay mechanics and user interface, and accurately identify and report bugs, glitches, and other issues using our bug tracking system. Your work will contribute directly to the quality and enjoyment of the D&D Beyond experience for millions of players worldwide.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of in-game testing and QA experience

We are looking for a Content QA Specialist (temporary/contract) to help deliver digital versions of Dungeons and Dragons Books on the D&D Digital team. This role will require a strong attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and a community-minded perspective.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, design test cases, and lead testing efforts for new content, features, and updates.

  • Thoroughly test all aspects of game content on D&D Beyond, including gameplay mechanics and user interface.
  • Accurately identify and report bugs, glitches, and other issues using our bug tracking system.
  • Perform analysis on D&D books to identify functionality shortfalls and work closely with the content team to prioritize and resolve issues to improve game quality.
  • Ensure that the game content meets our quality standards and adheres to design specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of testing activities and results.
  • Gather and analyze player feedback to identify areas of improvement.
  • Other quality assurance and test work as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of in game testing and quality assurance, with a focus on tabletop roleplaying games.

  • Exceptional understanding of Dungeons & Dragons rules and mechanics.
  • Proficiency with various tools on D&D Beyond.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and schedules.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with superior attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Self-motivation and proactivity in spotting and making recommendations, for process & performance improvement.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with web content management, graphic design, and web design.

  • Experience working with HTML and CSS to build web content.

Additional Details:

Please note that this is a temporary assignment providing services to Wizards through an external staffing agency. If you are selected for this assignment, you will be employed by Eastridge as a W2 employee and will not be an employee of Wizards.

  • Employment Type: Contingent Worker
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend to 12 months

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $28/hour

  • Pay Range End: $48/hour

 

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the hourly pay range for this role.
