POSITION

Learna AI is an innovative English learning application leveraging AI to personalize language education. We are seeking a Content Specialist (Language Learning) to join our team. In this role, you will design engaging lesson content and learning flows that align with proven language teaching methodologies. You’ll work in our product studio with content and AI product engineering teams to continuously improve the learning experience, ensuring our content is effective, enjoyable, and seamlessly integrated into the app. This position focuses on English language content, but if you have additional language expertise, that’s a great bonus!

‍WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?

· Design & Develop Content: Create lesson plans, exercises, and interactive activities that align with effective language learning methodologies, ensuring content is pedagogically sound and engaging.

· Structure Learning Flows: Organize and sequence lessons and modules to optimize user engagement and retention, providing a smooth progression for learners of varying levels.

· Iterate & Improve: Continuously test learning flows and content effectiveness. Gather user feedback and work with the AI product engineering team to refine prompts and lesson interactions for better outcomes.

· Support New Features: Collaborate with product managers to create and refine content for new app features, ensuring a seamless integration with the overall user experience and interface.

· Apply Teaching Methodologies: Leverage your knowledge of modern language teaching methods (e.g., Communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Learning, etc.) to enhance content effectiveness and adapt lessons to best practice approaches.

· Use Digital Tools: Utilize educational technology and digital content creation AI tools at an intermediate level as part of your content development process. (You’ll have opportunities to grow and further develop these technical skills on the job.)

‍WHAT YOU’LL BRING?

· Passion for Teaching: Genuine enthusiasm for language education and helping others learn English effectively.

· Language Teaching Expertise: Strong knowledge or background in language teaching, with a primary focus on English language education.

· Education/Experience: 0–2 years of experience in language education, curriculum/content creation, or a related field.

· Methodology Familiarity: Familiarity with current language teaching methodologies and practices. You understand approaches like communicative teaching, task-based learning, and can apply them to content design.

· Tech Savvy: Experience with, or keen interest in, digital education tools or AI-powered learning platforms. You are comfortable adopting new technologies to create and deliver content.

· Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g. product managers, designers, AI product engineers) to bring content ideas to life.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

·  EdTech Experience: Previous experience working on an educational app, e-learning platform, or other digital learning product.

·  Academic Background: A degree or coursework in Linguistics, Education, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
