Bungie seeks a Contract Capture Artist (Capture Tech) to support game capture workflows on their Multimedia Team. This role involves providing technical support to full-time and freelance Capture Artists, using in-game cameras within proprietary game engines. Responsibilities include collaborating with artists and editors to enhance live gameplay capture, running internal debug tools, pushing builds to specific machines, identifying workflow issues and suggesting improvements, and coordinating with the production team. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional FPS skills, troubleshooting abilities, familiarity with build deployment and debug workflows, strong communication skills, and experience with game engines and pipelines. Experience with cinematography tools is a plus.

Bungie is looking for a Capture Tech to support game capture workflows on the Multimedia Team. This role will provide technical support to our full-time and freelance Capture Artists using in-game cameras within our proprietary game engines. The Capture Tech will prop builds, flag bugs and escalate to appropriate POCs on the dev team. An ideal candidate should have experience with development environments, especially around build deployment and debug command workflows, strong communication skills and extensive experience playing Destiny and other FPS titles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with our Capture Artist and Video Editor to enhance and support the creation of live gameplay capture
  • Run our internal debug tools and commands in capture sessions
  • Push builds to specific machines
  • Utilize your communication skills to explain complex issues to our capture team
  • Identify workflow issues and suggest ways improve them
  • Coordinate with our Production team to direct your day-to-day

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Exceptional FPS player skills and experience with Loot-based games
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
  • Familiarity with build deployment workflows, and debug tools and workflows
  • Ability to clearly document information
  • Strong communication skills in cross-cultural environment
  • Experience improving or building workflows for creative teams
  • Experience with game engines and pipelines
  • Knowledge of cinematography tools used in film and animation

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience in ESports environments, propping builds for Live Events and Broadcasts
  • Passion for Bungie IPs
  • Familiarity with Bungie's current and past releases  
Listed below is this role's base pay range within the greater Seattle area. In other locations approved for remote work by Bungie and our external resource vendors, this pay range may be adjusted to the local market and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly), 

This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
