Conversations Designer

We’re currently partnering with one of the largest eCommerce companies in the world, looking to hire a Conversations Designer to join their team. This fully remote, 6-month contract opportunity offers the chance to work on innovative customer service and agent-facing productivity solutions.

As a Conversations Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the customer experience by designing and developing intuitive and effective conversational interfaces. Working alongside product managers, developers, and customer service teams, you’ll create dynamic user flows, scripts, and personas, ensuring that the solutions meet both customer needs and business objectives. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and design conversational experiences that address those needs.
• Develop conversation flows, scripts, and user personas to guide the creation of conversational interfaces.
• Conduct user research and testing to ensure interfaces are engaging, efficient, and user-friendly.
• Analyze feedback and performance data to continuously enhance the conversational experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in conversational design and AI technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in conversational design or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of conversational AI technologies and best practices.
• Experience designing and developing chatbots, IVR systems, or other conversational interfaces.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Kore.ai BotBuilder, Google Dialogflow CX, or other conversational AI platforms.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• Experience with UX design and user research.

Note: To qualify for our benefits package, candidates must work over 30 hours per week, and the assignment length must be at least 10 weeks.
