Netflix seeks a Coordinator to support its Korea Content Licensing/Business team in Seoul. This role is the operational backbone, managing licensing and original deal workflows. Responsibilities include ensuring operationalization of content deals, acting as a liaison with internal stakeholders (Marketing, PR, Legal, Operations, Product, Payment, and Content), tracking title schedules and key dates, conducting market research, providing ongoing deal management, supporting team tasks and projects, and maintaining flexibility for additional projects. The ideal candidate has 3+ years' experience in coordinator, project manager, or operations roles, familiarity with the entertainment industry, fluency in Korean and English, strong communication skills, and proficiency in various tools. A passion for Korean content and a proactive approach are essential.
Must have:

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Airtable
  • Experience in entertainment industry a plus
Good to have:

We are seeking a Coordinator to support the Korea Content Licensing/Business team based in Seoul. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quick-thinking, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple and diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail are essential. This position offers growth potential and requires curiosity, initiative, and a proactive approach. The Coordinator will report to the Director of the Korea Content Licensing/Business team.

Key Responsibilities:
This role serves as the operational backbone of the content licensing and business teams, managing licensing and original deal workflows. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring operationalization of content licensing deals and original deals  

  • Acting as a liaison with various internal stakeholders (such as Marketing, PR, Legal, Operations, Product, Payment, and Content- within Korea and other regions) to coordinate information sharing of the deals and address incoming requests

  • Tracking and communicating the title schedules and key dates for delivery, payments, start dates, and options between Netflix and external partners. 

  • Conducting market and competitive research as needed. Examples include compiling in-depth research on competitors' offerings and identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and systems

  • Providing on-going deal management by communicating with internal stakeholders(ex. Legal, CPS&O, Productions, Operations, Finance) 

  • Supporting the team in team tasks and projects, and increasing the team's operational efficiency 

  • Maintaining flexibility and openness to take on additional projects as necessary or assigned, with a business-friendly mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 


Qualifications: 

  • At least 3+ years of experience in coordinator, project manager, or operations roles is required. Familiarity with the studio, entertainment, or media-focused technology industry is a plus

  • Research, analytics, or legal-adjacent experience would be advantageous.

  • Fluency in both Korean and English is essential to support effective communication across teams and regions

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, with the ability to articulate ideas professionally and effectively

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines with a proactive and independent approach

  • Strong judgment and critical thinking abilities under tight timeframes are important.

  • Collaborative and resourceful with the ability to navigate cross-functional work effectively

  • Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Airtable, along with a good understanding of data navigation

  • A genuine interest in Korean content and its unique cultural impact
