Summary

The Sports & Gaming Coordinator at UMG will support the team's marketing efforts for Interscope & Capitol labels. Responsibilities include designing marketing assets, creating project documents (one-sheets, timelines, etc.), managing artist assets, coordinating shipping and travel, scheduling meetings, and acting as a liaison for license requests. The role also involves market research and building relationships with new companies. A strong understanding of the sports and gaming industries is crucial.
Must have:
  • 1-3 years office admin experience (music marketing preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office, Canva, Disco
  • Strong understanding of sports & gaming
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

How we LEAD: 

We are seeking a Sports & Gaming Coordinator to provide support to the team and general day-to-day office work.

How you’ll CREATE:

  • Support of product managers in the execution of marketing plans and strategy for both Interscope & Capitol labels.

  • Design marketing assets and pitch materials (decks, invites, recaps) to communicate internally with other departments and with external partners

  • Create and update all one-sheets, timelines, quote sheets, and any other project-related documents 

  • Collect and organize all artist assets (photos, artwork, logos, music, bio, etc.) while monitoring all artists audio timelines and track asset delivery

  • Shipping coordination, processing expenses, and booking travel (accommodations, car services etc.)

  • Coordinating marketing tools and assets for campaigns 

  • Assist in scheduling meetings for the department and providing agendas along with other support as required

  • Actively participate in team meetings, discussions, and planning activities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact to clear license requests with management teams and ensure appropriate approvals are received ahead of deadlines

  • Conducting research on finding new contacts, new companies, etc. for the department to build relationships with

  • Other duties as assigned

Bring your VIBE:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in office administrative capacity (the music marketing industry preferred)

  • Experience working with Microsoft Word - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Zoom, Canva and Disco

  • Strong understanding and passion for the sports & gaming landscapes

  • Proficiency in Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) preferred

  • BS/BA (Business Administration or Marketing preferred)

  • Ability to communicate with various roles within company

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical approach to problem-solving

  • Must be self-directed and extremely well organized.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work under time constraints.

  • Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities.

  • Ability to keep information confidential
