The position is based in Paris.

In particular, you will be involved in:

Competitive Intelligence & Landscaping

• Support research and reporting efforts to maintain knowledge bases of relevant companies to identify potential strategic partners and competitors.
• Assist in landscaping cutting-edge technologies and scientific developments to help inform Owkin’s strategy.
• Help review, aggregate, analyze, and monitor pharmaceutical development, scientific literature, and market research to identify and assess potential acquisition and licensing targets.

Research & Analysis

• Support with financial, literature, and market analyses to inform the development of strategic recommendations and business cases.
• Integrate insights from diverse sources (market reports, databases, scientific publications, internal experiments) into clear, structured reports and presentations.
• Help develop high-quality materials for Owkin’s internal decision meetings, external presentations, and board meetings.

Project Management & Reporting

• Prepare summaries, key takeaways, and detailed notes from internal and external meetings, and provide updates across business units to keep activities aligned and advancing
• Maintain and enhance project management tools, folders and trackers to monitor progress across various projects.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• Enrolled in a Master’s (or higher) degree program in Chemistry / Biology / (Bio)chemical Engineering or similar with some exposure to or experience in business or biotech
• Passionate about Biotech and AI
• A structured thinker, who can formulate how to get work done
• Able to juggle multiple workstreams through prioritizing
• Not afraid of asking questions and solving problems
• An effective communicator in written and oral English
• A quick learner and creative thinker
• Numerate and tech-savvy
• Able to work full time for 6 months
• Previous exposure to the health sector, strategy consulting or corporate finance is a plus but not required
