COS is scheduled to open a new store in the Shinsaibashi area of Osaka (within Daimaru department store) in November 2025. We are looking for part-time (20-30 hours/week) Sales Advisors to build the brand with us at the new store!

Job Responsibilities

This position allows for part-time work (20-30 hours per week) and includes weekend and evening shifts. We are looking for Sales Advisors who can grow with us as a wonderful member of the COS Japan team.

Main duties:

• Customer service and improving the shopping experience
• Cash register operations and fitting room support
• In-store sales and inventory management
• Display of new products and visual merchandising

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Retail and apparel sales experience preferred
• Inexperienced candidates are also welcome if they have a customer service mindset and enjoy working collaboratively with a team

Working Hours and Holidays

• Shift system (possibility of working weekends and public holidays)
• Schedule adjustments possible (details to be discussed during the interview)

For foreign nationals:

• Only those with a valid work visa for Japan can apply
• Japanese language proficiency to serve customers is required
• Candidates who can work weekends are preferred

Additional Information

Salary

Part-time (PT)

• Hourly wage 1,204 JPY
• Commuting allowance: 1,130 JPY/day

*Additional incentives are paid on top of the basic salary upon achieving quarterly goals.

Working Hours

• Shift system (between 07:30 and 20:30, including weekend and evening shifts)

Part-time (PT)

• U30 (Short-term employment / Students welcome): 4-5 days/week, 20-29 hours/week
• U20 (Short-term employment / Students welcome): 3-4 days/week, 4-19 hours/week
• Working schedule updated every 4 weeks

Probationary Period / Training

• 6-month probationary period (PROBATION)
• Employment conditions during the probationary period are the same as for regular employment
