AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credit & Collections Coordinator to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing credit accounts, collecting payments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities include evaluating credit applications, monitoring customer accounts for potential risks, developing effective collection strategies, negotiating payment plans, and preparing financial reports. The coordinator will also collaborate with sales and finance teams to optimize credit policies, maintain accurate customer credit files, assist in billing dispute resolution, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Must have:
  • Evaluate credit applications and make recommendations for credit limits
  • Monitor customer accounts and identify potential credit risks
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt
  • Negotiate payment plans with customers to resolve overdue accounts
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to credit and collections

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit files
  • Assist in the resolution of billing disputes and discrepancies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit and collection processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in credit and collections or a similar financial role

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credit & Collections Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing credit accounts, collecting payments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

  • Evaluate credit applications and make recommendations for credit limits
  • Monitor customer accounts and identify potential credit risks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in credit and collections or a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, or data base software.
  • May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of credit and collections processes.
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian financial laws and regulations.
  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Professional certifications, (SOCPA) certified.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
