Job Description
Smilegate Entertainment is seeking a talented Background Artist for their flagship title, Crossfire. The role involves creating compelling visual concepts and assets for various game environments, encompassing military, near-future, and sci-fi settings. Responsibilities include developing CF background concept art and mood concepts, reimagining diverse genres, and translating ideas into high-quality visuals. The ideal candidate possesses strong creative skills, teamwork abilities, and excellent communication. Experience with matte painting and a deep understanding of military, near-future, and sci-fi themes are highly valued. This is a full-time position based at the Smilegate campus in Seongnam, South Korea.
Must have:
- Create compelling background concept art
- Develop mood concepts for various settings
- Strong creative and visualization skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication
- Adaptable to new tasks and challenges
Good to have:
- Matte painting experience
- Deep understanding of SF, near-future, modern, and military themes
