The Customer Adoption Manager at Coupa works within the Professional Services organization to increase customer adoption, maximize value, and drive best practices using Coupa's platform. This role involves managing customer engagements, ensuring platform adoption, providing technical expertise, collaborating with Customer Value Managers (CVMs), leading workshops, and becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The Customer Adoption Manager defines project scopes, manages clients, and executes change management plans to support successful go-lives, driving the adoption of Coupa's features to improve business outcomes.
Must have:
  • 4+ years of experience in systems applications consulting.
  • Strong background in Source-to-Contract (S2C) and/or Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
Good to have:
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
  • Exposure to financial accounting, customer management, or sales force automation solutions.

You will work closely with Coupa Customers globally to increase adoption, maximize value & drive best practices, ensuring our Customers get the greatest value from their Coupa platform. What you will do:
  • Manage CAM (Customer Adoption Manager) engagements using strong project management practices, while driving standardized process development and implementing solutions to complex business problems.
  • Ensure customer success by facilitating effective platform adoption, aligning with strategic goals, and leading value-driven discussions beyond feature/function basics.
  • Deliver deep technical and product expertise on the Coupa platform, demonstrating tailored configurations, recommending best practices across business verticals, and supporting impact analysis and solution development for ongoing business challenges.
  • Collaborate with Coupa Customer Value Managers (CVMs) to execute account plans, directly support customers, and deliver best practice assessments that encourage adoption and reduce complexity.
  • Lead workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to provide process improvements, technical guidance, and workarounds that enhance business outcomes using Coupa's features.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Coupa core modules while working cross-functionally with internal teams and the global Customer Adoption Manager team to drive customer success.
  • Define project scopes, key activities, and deliverables in collaboration with customers, ensuring alignment and effective execution of engagement plans.
What you will bring to Coupa:
  • 4+ years of experience in systems applications consulting, either within an IT organization or with a consulting firm/software provider; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Strong background in S2C (Source-to-Contract), P2P (Procure-to-Pay), and/or Global Compliance is highly preferred; procurement, AP, or expense management experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage clients effectively and execute change management plans that support rapid and successful go-lives.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms is advantageous, along with exposure to financial accounting, customer management, or sales force automation solutions.
  • Previous consulting experience with platforms such as Ariba, Concur, NetSuite, Basware, OB10, Salesforce.com, Workday, Great Plains, ACT, Oracle, or SAP is a strong predictor of success.
