Job Description
The Customer Engineer, Data Analytics, Google Cloud role focuses on building partner solutions, managing technical relationships, and providing advisory services. Responsibilities include developing go-to-market strategies, supporting partner pilots and proof-of-concepts, ensuring successful customer migrations, and offering best-practice advice on Google Cloud integration. The ideal candidate possesses strong cloud native architecture experience, expertise in analytical warehouse solutions and data movement, and excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and executive stakeholders. This role requires experience in building data warehouses, data lakes, and implementing analytics systems.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years cloud native architecture experience
- Analytical warehouse & data movement expertise
- Analytics system architecture implementation
- Technical stakeholder & executive presentation skills
Good to have:
- Data warehouse/lake development experience
- Batch/real-time event processing expertise
- BI and ETL solution experience
- Technical pre-sales experience
- Technical consulting experience in cloud computing/data
- Coding experience (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience with Analytical Warehouse solutions and data movement from data stores into Analytic Warehouses.
- Experience implementing analytics systems architecture, including elements.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with developing data warehouses, data lakes, batch or real-time event processing, business intelligence (BI) and ETL solutions.
- Experience in technical pre-sales, such as solution design and architecture, conducting proof of concepts, building MVPs etc.
- Experience in technical business or professional consulting in the fields of cloud computing, data, information lifecycle management, and Big Data.
- Experience in writing code (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, Scala, R, Go).

- Build partner specific, go-to-market solutions to reduce business cycles and deliver partner business through pipeline and business growth.
- Own the technical relationship with partners, empowering them to deliver a successful pilot or proof-of-concept, support partners drive toward customer acceptance of the technical proposal, leading to an agreement, and work with partners during the migration phase to assure they have all the tools necessary to deliver a successful deployment.
- Build trusted advisory relationships and make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution providing best practice advice to customers to enhance Google Cloud effectiveness.
