Job Description

As a Customer Engineer, Infrastructure Modernization at Google Cloud, you'll work with leading companies to facilitate the adoption and productive use of Google Cloud products. You'll help solve key technical issues, liaise with internal teams, and develop creative cloud solutions. Responsibilities include inspiring customers with innovative solutions, identifying business opportunities, managing customer relationships, demonstrating product integrations, recommending integration strategies, and working with the sales team to introduce Google Cloud to new customers. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud computing, DevOps, and a deep understanding of customer needs. You will also be responsible for presenting technical information effectively to various audiences.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field
6+ years cloud native architecture experience
Cloud computing expertise (infrastructure, storage, platforms, data)
Experience with customer-facing roles
Technical presentation skills

Good to have:

Master's degree in CS or related field
DevOps experience (CI/CD)
Troubleshooting live production systems
Bilingual (Hebrew and English)
SAP domain knowledge

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Software Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience in cloud computing (e.g., infrastructure, storage, platforms, data), cloud market dynamics and customer buying behavior.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science or other relevant technical field.
Experience with DevOps best practices (e.g. CI/CD), and ability to gather, analyze, debug, and fix problems that occur with live production systems.
Experience in providing technical presentations and demos in both Hebrew and English.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Ability to think strategically, with the big picture in mind.
Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities

Inspire customers and peers to solve difficult problems with innovative and novel solutions.
Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Manage the technical relationship with our customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments as well as domain SAP knowledge in conjunction to those solutions.
Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
