Job Description

Coursera seeks an experienced Customer Marketing Manager for EMEA to drive customer adoption, expansion, and loyalty. Responsibilities include executing regional advocacy, engagement, and education initiatives; creating customer stories and case studies; managing upsell/cross-sell campaigns; collaborating with sales and customer success teams; analyzing campaign performance; and sharing best practices. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of B2B customer marketing experience, utilizing marketing automation and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. Up to 15% travel is required for customer events within the EMEA region.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Customer Marketing Manager to execute regional customer advocacy, engagement, and demand generation initiatives that drive adoption, expansion, and loyalty within our existing customer base in EMEA. The ideal candidate will have experience creating and managing successful customer marketing programs, upsell and cross-sell campaigns, customer storytelling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and be comfortable traveling for up to 15% of the time for customer events within the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute regional customer advocacy, engagement, and education initiatives aligned with global and regional strategies.
  • Identify, manage, and oversee the creation of customer stories, case studies, and testimonials specific to the EMEA region.
  • Execute regional upsell and cross-sell campaigns to generate demand for additional products and capture customer whitespace.
  • Work closely with regional sales and customer success teams to identify opportunities for customer engagement and provide them with enablement materials to support ongoing engagement.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of regional customer marketing campaigns, making data-driven suggestions for improvement.
  • Share best practices and insights with other regional team members to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in B2B marketing with a focus on customer marketing, demand generation, or similar roles.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools, webinar tools, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated history in taking a data-driven approach to decision-making and program optimization.
  • Experience running virtual or in-person customer events, roundtables, etc. 
  • Demonstrated communication, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Experience working closely with and enabling sales and customer success teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated strategic and tactical thinking, with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working with a global team
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
