As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects stay on schedule. Responsibilities include maintaining and growing relationships with customers through regular communication and jobsite visits, resolving jobsite issues efficiently, providing market insights, identifying opportunities for product enhancements, supporting Account Managers, monitoring regional sales activity, assisting with project setup, attending pre-construction meetings, performing jobsite drive-bys, and preparing reports. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

We’re looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Customer Service Representative to support our Multi-Family and Commercial construction accounts. What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Rep, you’ll be the go-to resource for our clients—ensuring their needs are met, their projects stay on track, and their experience with UFP is exceptional. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular communication and jobsite visits.

  • Resolve jobsite issues quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and project continuity.

  • Provide valuable market insights on competitors, service trends, and customer needs.

  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements or modifications to better serve clients.

  • Support Account Managers in generating new business and promoting our product lines.

  • Monitor regional sales activity and contribute to strategic planning.

  • Assist with project setup, attend pre-construction meetings, and perform jobsite drive-bys as needed.

  • Prepare reports and documentation to support internal and external communication.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction, customer service, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with construction or manufacturing environments is a plus.

  • Knowledge of UFP’s products and culture is a bonus.
