Eneba is seeking a Data Analyst for its Fraud team to analyze fraud-related data, identify suspicious behavior, and support prevention efforts. The role involves analyzing large-scale fraud and transaction data to uncover patterns, developing dashboards and reports for real-time monitoring, and supporting the development of fraud detection models. The analyst will collaborate with fraud operations, engineering, and product teams to implement risk prevention strategies and drive improvements in fraud case triage processes. This position is crucial for shaping the company's fraud strategy and enhancing user trust within their gaming marketplace.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or fraud analytics

As a Data Analyst in the Fraud team, you’ll take ownership of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting fraud-related data to identify suspicious behavior, support prevention efforts, and inform business decisions. Your work will be vital in shaping our fraud strategy, improving user trust, and contributing directly to Eneba’s mission of creating a safe gaming marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale fraud and transaction data to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor fraud KPIs and detect unusual behavior in real-time.
  • Support the development of fraud detection models and scoring mechanisms using historical and live data.
  • Collaborate with fraud operations, engineering, and product teams to implement risk prevention strategies.
  • Drive improvements in fraud case triage processes through automation and data-driven insights.
  • Conduct deep dives into fraud incidents to understand root causes and inform future risk mitigation tactics.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support to stakeholders across product, finance, and customer support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or fraud analytics roles, preferably in e-commerce, fintech, or digital goods.
  • Strong command of SQL for querying large datasets and building insightful reports.
  • Experience working with fraud detection tools or platforms (e.g., nSure, Sift, Signifyd) is a plus.
  • Python experience for data analysis and manipulation and basic modeling is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with key fraud KPIs, detection metrics, and prevention strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and curious mindset.
  • Strong communication skills — able to translate complex insights into clear, actionable messages.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities and ambiguous challenges.
€34,997 - €48,000 a year
*Salary ranges may vary. We’re seeking candidates with varied experience levels; from individual contributors to functional leaders in this space.
*We’re an international team and our business language of choice is English. Good English level is required, proficiency is preferred.
