Job Description
As a Data Analyst, Payments at Eneba, you'll lead data collection and integration projects, develop performance reports, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities to optimize payment processes. You'll collaborate with product teams, finance, customer support, and other departments to address payment-related challenges. Responsibilities include analyzing payment performance, transaction volumes, and other indicators to inform key strategic decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced SQL, and excellent communication to present complex information clearly. You'll work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

About your team

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical insights and reporting to support decision-making within the company. You will work closely with the product teams and other departments to analyze payments-related data, manage complex data sources, automate data processes, and provide insights into business performance. This is a critical role in our organization, as the insights and recommendations you provide will inform key strategic decisions that drive our growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the data collection and integration projects within the payments domain.
- Develop and maintain performance reports for payments analytics.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), provide insights into payment performance, transaction volumes, and other indicators.
- Identify opportunities to optimize payment processes and reduce operational costs, work with payment ops and product teams to optimize payment routing and reduce payment failures.
- Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with other teams such as finance, customer support, and product development to address payment-related challenges and opportunities.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and research to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in business analytics in finance, banking, consulting, accounting or similar sectors.
- Advanced level of SQL with an ambition to improve.
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
- Ability to identify and suggest potential improvements in the payments domain, by analyzing transactional, business and market data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present complex information in an easily understandable way.
