Data and Analytics Business Analyst /Development Lead
JOB MISSION
As part of Roche´s Business Intelligence and Data Analysis team, the IT Data & Analytics Development Lead will build and maintain trust, working relationships with business stakeholders in a cross functional environment, understanding the analytic needs of the domain, and leading / working in an agile product team setting fulfilling those needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead Offshore development team
- Design, Transforming, testing, visualizing and documenting analytic data products
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Collaborate and lead cross-functionally with data & insights peers and business stakeholders to discover high impact opportunities and deliver robust solutions to enable self-service analytics
- Understand where various opportunities fit into the broader strategies and prioritize competing demands to ensure the most impactful items are delivered
- Lead and participate as a data and analytics expert in an agile team to deliver data mesh and data products to the business stakeholders
- Lead and participate in user discovery sessions, iterative refinement cycles with technical team and sprint planning
- Develop high-impact data layers, user interfaces and other tools to enable self-service analytics
- Gather feedback and input on data mesh and data product implementations from end-users and peers and create a cycle of continuous improvement
- An experienced analytics professional with a proven track record of understanding the true needs of the business stakeholder and how to leverage data / analytic skills and partnerships to fulfill those needs
- A team player leading and contributing to an agile team focused on data product delivery
- You are comfortable with ambiguity, and able to thrive with minimal oversight and process
- You are highly experienced with building SAP BW based solutions along with SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP BTP
- You have exceptional communication and collaborative skills
- You have an investigative and curious mindset and easily understand business rules and application to data
- Demonstrated experience with agile methodology and working in agile teams
- You are highly experienced working with data and analytic report interpretation
- You are proficient on the use of office apps (GSheets/Excel, GDocs/Word, GSlides/PowerPoint ) - GSuite is preferred
- Experience in healthcare analytics and working with healthcare data in a regulated environment is a plus
- Experience in working with Transparency & Sustainability reporting projects is a plus
- Experience in a major global organization with proven technical design, development, and implementation of analytics products with ETL / integration with multiple enterprise applications preferred
- Bachelor Degree in Informatics (or equivalent) with 10-15 years of relevant experience
- Accreditations and certifications in other data and analytics technologies (Snowflake, AWS, Tableau, etc) is a plus
