Job Description

This Data Center Site Server Operations Lead role in Ridgeville, SC requires 10+ years of experience managing technical teams in server hardware installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Responsibilities include overseeing daily management of data center operations managers and teams, resolving problems, creating solutions for global computing and network architecture, leading site initiatives, managing escalations and project implementation, hiring and developing a team, driving safety culture, and fostering a collaborative team environment. The role requires experience with various operating systems (e.g., Linux), network architecture development, and ideally experience with large-scale data center infrastructure. Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience managing technical teams in charge of installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, or maintaining hardware servers and its components.
Experience in site-level data center operational leadership.
Experience in developing and managing managers.
Experience with different operating systems (e.g., Linux). Experience with developing network architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working in data center environments, including building and operating large-scale infrastructure.
Experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
Knowledge of networks and computer hardware architecture, including maintenance and repair.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Passion for operations and people management.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management of managers and teams within data center operations.
Work together to identify and resolve problems and create solutions for our global computing and network architecture.
Lead site level initiatives and manage escalations and manage the implementation of projects within the team.
Hire, coach and develop a team while achieving business goals and ensure data center-related priorities are consistent with company objectives.
Demonstrate the ability to implement and drive the safety culture at the site, while fostering an inclusive, diverse and collaborative team environment and engage in community relations.
