Our client is a leading financial services institution with over 20 years of history and enjoys a strong global presence across the US, UK, Canada and APAC region.

As part of their headcount expansion for their Singapore office, they are currently looking for a Data Engineer (python) to join their Technology team. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be responsible to build new data pipelines for their low latency trading platforms. You will also be expected to design and develop new features and enhancements through the use of python programming and public cloud technologies in order to ensure high availability and performance of their trading platforms.

To Qualify, You Must Have The Following

• Holds at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or other related fields of study
• Has at least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering and building data pipelines on high availability and low latency systems.
• Prior background in software engineering would be preferred
• Strong technical expertise in Python programming and using container tools such as Kubernetes / Docker
• Proven work experience with public cloud technologies, i.e., AWS, Azure or GCP
• Good experience with data pipeline tools, i.e., Apache Airflow, Kafka etc.
• Domain knowledge in Market Data or KDB+ would be a plus
