Job Description
This is a 6-month full-time Data Engineering internship at Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg focusing on New Product Introduction (NPI) and Bill of Materials (BOM) management. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining BOM data, collaborating with cross-functional teams on system transitions and optimizations, performing data analysis to identify trends and optimize processes, contributing to the development of IT tools and dashboards, and solving complex challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, proficiency in Excel and SQL, experience with PLM, ERP, and MES systems, and excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills. The internship provides an opportunity to contribute to Tesla's cutting-edge innovations and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Must have:
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or IT
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL
- Experience with PLM, ERP, MES
- Strong data analysis skills
- Problem-solving and teamwork skills
Good to have:
- Dashboard creation experience
- Data visualization skills

- Data Analysis: Leverage data insights to identify trends, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making.
- Tool Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of IT tools and dashboards to boost efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Dive into complex challenges and implement innovative solutions.
- Education: Currently pursuing a BSc. or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or IT.
- Data Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for working with data and extracting meaningful insights.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and a strong foundation in PLM, ERP, MES, and analytics tools.
