Role: Data Entry Specialist

Reporting to:  Proofreader – Creative Team

Experience Require: 3+ years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, maintaining data within spreadsheets, and reviewing and proofreading data to ensure clarity, consistency, and correctness, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle data-intensive tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and handle large volumes of data across multiple spreadsheets and workbooks.
• Verify accuracy of data and text before final submission.
• Source data from external sources to spreadsheet, ensuring data integrity.
• Verify the accuracy of data (check for any missing or incomplete data) before entering it into the system.
• Organize and maintain files and records for easy access when required.
• Identify and correct any errors, discrepancies, or duplicates in data.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and similar software like Google spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot Excel-related issues.
• Understanding of data privacy and security practices.
• Basic familiarity with content or data management processes
