Data Infrastructure Engineer for Lakehouse

The Data Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for building and operating Apple’s largest data platform, supporting exabyte scale. They will be tasked with scaling and operationalizing a custom-built, multi-tenant, highly secure, and privacy-enabled Data Lakehouse. The role requires ensuring the data platform provides reliable, high-quality data with consistent SLAs, along with good monitoring, alerting, incident response, and continuous investment to reduce technical debt. The engineer will write code, create documentation, participate in code reviews, and mentor other engineers. The successful candidate should possess strong communication skills, proven data infrastructure/platform design and implementation capabilities, strong business acumen, and a drive to deliver results. They should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
