Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at Bragg Gaming, you will work with cutting-edge cloud-based technologies to help us develop data science projects and implement, develop, and maintain production-level algorithms. You will be responsible for uncovering hidden patterns, developing predictive and anomaly detection models, and driving data-driven insights to inform critical business decisions. Thereby, you will contribute to the management of a modern ecosystem that we use for fast and reliable insights generation with the goal of improving our services and business decisions.

Your responsibilities:

• Designing and developing code, scripts, and algorithms;
• Driving the development of our data science projects;
• Maintaining, improving, and scaling our data science projects as we grow;
• Designing and building production-ready complex data transformations and algorithms;
• Leveraging a data-driven approach.

What you bring to the team:

• 3+ years of professional experience as a data scientist;
• Statistical / mathematical background;
• Experience in data science projects;
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL;
• Passion for leveraging analytics, algorithms, automation, statistics;
• English language fluency, both written and spoken.
  

Bonus points if:

• You have experience with cloud platforms and columnar databases (GCP, AWS);
• You have experience with statistical languages (R) and charting frameworks (Jupyerhub);
• Experience in designing and implementing production-ready code;
• You have experience in the implementation of distributed and scalable solutions;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into layman's terms.
