Job Description

The Data Scientist will utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to analyze large datasets, uncover insights, and produce evidence. They will develop and implement data-driven strategies to identify and resolve issues, conduct research and analysis to support business needs, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of systems. They will also collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, investigation parameters, and objectives. The Data Scientist will prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations and ensure all investigative processes comply with policy and are well documented. This position is for a dynamic and seasoned strategy and operations minded Data Scientist who will engage with global and cross-functional teams throughout TransUnion to drive execution of systematic evaluation and special projects related to TU’s Consumer Interactive division.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science or related field.
  • Experience in legal, regulatory, and compliance investigations.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools like SQL, Python, R.
  • Strong understanding of logic, definitions, argumentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $78,750.00 - $131,250 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
