Data Scientist (ML/AI & Blockchain Technologies)

As a Data Scientist specializing in ML/AI and blockchain technologies, you will play a pivotal role in developing and deploying advanced data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize algorithms and models that leverage both ML/AI and blockchain. Your expertise will help us push the boundaries of what's possible and drive significant impact across our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Learning & AI:
  • Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models and AI algorithms to solve complex business problems for smart cities
  • Work with large datasets to extract insights, perform predictive analytics, and optimize business processes.
  • Implement and fine-tune deep learning models for various applications, such as natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems.
• Blockchain Integration:
  • Design and implement blockchain solutions to enhance data security, transparency, and traceability.
  • Develop smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps) to integrate with existing and new systems.
  • Explore and prototype innovative uses of blockchain technology to complement ML/AI initiatives.
• Data Management:
  • Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support scalable data processing and analysis.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Document methodologies, processes, and results for future reference and reproducibility.

• •  Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on ML/AI.
  • Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies and smart contract development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
  • Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong knowledge of blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger) and cryptographic principles. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
