Job Description

Senior Database Administrator needed with 3-6 years of hands-on MySQL experience. Responsibilities include database administration, replication, clustering, query optimization, schema design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3) and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Nagios, Prometheus) is required. Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Python) for automation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.

Must have:

3-6 years MySQL DBA experience
Proficient in MySQL administration, replication, clustering
AWS (RDS, EC2, S3) expertise
Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Nagios, Prometheus)
Query optimization, schema design, performance tuning
Scripting (Shell, Python) for automation

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience as a MySQL DBA.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in MySQL database administration, replication, and clustering.
Strong understanding of AWS services, especially RDS, EC2, and S3.
Experience in monitoring tools and troubleshooting database issues.
Hands-on experience in query optimization, schema design, and performance tuning.
Tools & Technologies:
Proficiency in monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Nagios, or Prometheus.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation.
