About the role

Gala is excited to announce that we're searching for a visionary and versatile leader to take on the role of Product Manager for the new GalaChain Wallet and other soon-to-be-released DeFi products.

As the product leader, you will lead the development and growth of our product, ensuring it meets the needs of users and the ecosystem while maintaining best-in-class security, usability, and compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, compliance, and partnerships, to build a seamless and innovative wallet experience.

The ideal candidate has prior game dev experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. What you'll do

• Product Ownership: Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for GalaChain products.
• User Experience & Research: Deeply understand crypto users' needs to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly wallet experience.
• Security & Compliance: Work closely with engineering and legal teams to ensure high security standards and regulatory compliance.
• Market Analysis: Stay ahead of trends in the DeFi and Web3 space, incorporating innovative technologies and partnerships.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Align with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth product execution and go-to-market strategies.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze product performance, user behavior, and KPIs to iterate and improve adoption and retention.
• Feature Development: Prioritize and manage features like multi-chain support, staking, DeFi integrations, token swaps, and on/off-ramp functionalities.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in product management, preferably in blockchain, fintech, or DeFi.
• Technical Understanding: Strong knowledge of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, DeFi protocols, and wallet infrastructure.
• User-Centric Approach: Experience designing and shipping consumer-facing products with a focus on UX/UI.
• Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to use data analytics tools and insights to drive product decisions.
• Agile & Fast-Paced Execution: Experience in an agile environment, able to adapt quickly to market changes.
• Communication & Leadership: Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passion for Web3: Deep interest in DeFi, self-custody, and decentralized applications.
• Experience with Web3 wallets, key management, and DeFi integrations.
• Background in software development, cryptography, or security.
• Previous experience launching and scaling a blockchain product.
