The Delivery Operations Specialist at Tesla plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and professional customer delivery experience. Responsibilities include overseeing administrative tasks at the delivery center, managing appointment calendars and pipeline flow, preparing delivery documents, and working with sales and other operational teams to verify order accuracy. The role requires close collaboration with service and logistics to coordinate vehicle shipment and preparation, implementing best practices to enhance the customer ownership experience. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in automotive or registration processes and have a proven track record of working effectively within a team.

Delivery is a very exciting time for customers who are preparing to take ownership of their Tesla. The Delivery Operations Specialist serves as a liaison between the local delivery and supporting teams to consistently and professionally prepare for customer deliveries. This position has a direct impact on our delivery promise as customers take ownership of their new vehicles.
- Oversee and coordinate administrative responsibilities at the delivery center
- Monitor and manage pipeline flow and appointment calendars to ensure an accurate and efficient delivery process.
- Prepare, print and process delivery documents in an accurate and timely fashion
- Work cross-functionally with other sales operations teams to verify sales orders, contracts and registration documents for accuracy.
- Record information and ensure data quality in our systems
- Work with other departments such as service and logistics to coordinate vehicle shipment and prep
- Develop and implement best practices to provide a superior ownership experience and reflect Tesla brand values
- Other responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned, based on the business need
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Proven ability to work well with others in a team
- Self-starter who is goal-oriented and highly motivated
- Superior attention to detail
- Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume
- Ability to work across multiple systems
- Related automotive and registration experience preferred
- Administrative and customer-facing experience preferred
- At least 3 years relevant experience
- Business level of English skills and other local languages
- Valid driver license holder
