This role is for a Derivative Designer focusing on game IP projects. Responsibilities include extracting IP selling points, developing peripheral derivatives aligned with project tone and consumer needs, and participating in planning and internal communication. The ideal candidate understands market trends and product design. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Visual, Product, or Graphic Design, experience in animation/game/cultural derivative products, knowledge of production processes, and product implementation experience. Proficiency in PS, AI, SAI, and familiarity with design and production of paper prints, acrylic, and tinplate badges are essential. Innovation and teamwork are valued.
Must have:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Visual, Product, or Graphic Design.
  • Possess work experience in animation, game, or cultural derivative products.
  • Understand production processes and have product implementation experience.
  • Familiarity with mainstream IP derivative design and production.
  • Proficiency in design and production of paper prints, acrylic, and tinplate badges.
  • Skilled in using PS, AI, and SAI for derivative design.

  • Proficiency in P4 software

Job Description

1. Based on different game IP projects, accurately extract IP derivative product selling points, and use relevant materials to develop peripheral derivatives, ensuring the design style aligns with the project's tone and meets the needs of IP consumers.

2. Participate in planning discussions for peripheral derivatives and internal communication with game project teams to ensure that the designed peripheral products meet the needs of IP consumers.

3. Understand market and product trends, with deep thought and understanding of product design.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Visual/Product/Graphic Design or related design majors, with work experience in animation/game/cultural and creative derivative products, understanding of production processes and workflows, and experience in product implementation.

2. Interested in game peripheral design, understand the design and production process of mainstream IP derivatives, familiar with the design application and production processes of paper printed materials, acrylic, and tinplate badges, able to effectively execute superior's work arrangements, and control the accuracy and completeness from design finalization to post-production.

3. Proficient in using PS/AI/SAI and other drawing software to complete derivative design work; candidates with drawing ability or proficiency in P4 software operation are preferred.

4. Possess an innovative spirit and teamwork spirit, with a certain level of stress resistance.
